McCourt Memorial 911 Garden in New London
Monday, March 28th, 2005The McCourt Memorial Garden on the Connecticut College Campus near the Lyman Allyn Museum in New London honors Ruth and four-year old Juliana McCourt were aboard the United Airline flight that struck the World Trade Center. Ruth’s brother was one of the people who worked in the World Trade Center, he escaped that day. However, Ruth and Juliana were flying to L.A. to meet a friend who was on another flight, American Flight 11, which crashed into the other tower.
