Thank you for your inquiry. I am the studio director for Jim Gary and can answer most of your questions.
The memorial garden in Colts Neck was created to be the location for a memorial to the members of the community lost in the attack upon the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. I think that there were five families from Colts Neck who each lost a member in the attack.
After a competition where many artists submitted designs for the memorial, Jim Gary was selected to create the memorial and he created the metal sculpture. At the dedication of the memorial Jim also gave a small sculpture to each of the five families from Colts Neck who lost a member in that attack.
Jim Gary grew up in Colts Neck — so the loss was very personal to him.
You can find out many details about Jim Gary on the web site I host at

Hi, Sheena …
Could you please change the URL shown in Kafi’s email from kafi-benz.com to http://www.kafi-benz.com? The link is defaulting and we don’t have redirects set up for domain names lacking the www element at the beginning.
Thanks,
