According to a New Transcript article:
The Marlboro 9/11 Memorial, which is also referred to as a “Reflections Memorial” and a “Living Memorial,” will be constructed off Wyncrest Road near the Marlboro Recreation Community Center, according to Susan Levine, public information officer.
The memorial will include trees surrounding a granite fountain tablet engraved with the names of the people who grew up or lived in Marlboro and were killed in the 9/11 attacks, Levine added. A wall of pine trees to be planted near the monument will dull the sound of cars from Wyncrest Road.
“The families of 9/11 victims requested a safe, tranquil natural environment for the memorial,” Levine explained.
