The 911 Memorial at Honolulu Community College is mounted in a sealed vessel attached to the back of the memorial. The memorial itself sits on a circular pedestal. It consists of stainless steel representations of each of the fallen World Trade Center towers upon which is a plexiglass like mounted image of a reflective American flag.

A 911 memorial honoring Chaplain Mychal Judge, who administered last rites at the World Trade Center, before becoming a victim who became an icon of the events, is on the shore of Keshcarrigan Lake in Ireland near his boyhood home.

Geller DeVellis designed a 9/11 memorial labyrinth to commemorate the loss of 22 Boston College alumni lost in the 9/11 tragedy of 2001. Modeled on a labyrinth design at Chartres Cathedral in Paris, France, the labyrinth offers a quiet space for visitors to stroll and reflect on the meaning of the space.
