Morris County 911 Memorial at Parsippany Features Relics from WTC, Flight 93 and Pentagon

Morris County, NJ 9/11 Memorialis located on the grounds of the Morris County Fire Fighters and Police Training Academy at 500 West Hanover Avenue in Parsippany, NJ.
“This Memorial incorporates three pieces of the structural steel framing from the World Trade Center as the focal point of the monument, along with pieces of the wreckage from Flight 93 which crashed in Pennsylvania, and soil from the US Pentagon grounds.
Plaques with the names of the 64 Morris County residents who perished along with the names of all of the victims of the attacks are displayed at the site.
The memorial site includes the center monument area - a representation of Ground Zero at the World Trade Center site, surrounded by a circular walkway lined with benches. Four bridges extend from the center walkway across a circular reflecting pool and connect to a second walkway encircling the monument. ”
