National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg Honors All U.S. Firefighters

National Fallen Firefighters Memorial
The National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park in Emmitsburg, Maryland, was authorized by Congress in 1990 and honors all firefighters in the U.S. who have fallen since 1981. The traditional dedication day is Memorial Day. 911 Firefighters were honored in 2002.
