Tintonfalls, NJ, World Trade Center Replica

Tinton Falls, NJ, Memorial
Jared Stevens, a borough police corporal and volunteer firefighter (former chief) of Tinton Falls Fire Co. No. 1, created this 8 foot tall model of the Twin Towers. Working alone in his garage at night, he spent some 35 days building the model. Most of the time was spent recreating the details of the Twin Towers with their distinctive look. He drilled some 40,000 holes for windows.

The replica is illuminated every night, will remain in front of the Tinton Falls Firehouse, at 695 Tinton Avenue, as long as it holds up.

This Memorial is as touching today as it was the day it went up. The authenticity of replication is outstanding. It is one of the things about it that gives you chills when you stand and reflect on all it represents. Still, people can be seen looking at the memorial in awe, some lay flowers or leave photos, others just stand in silence. I am fortunate to live in Tinton Falls and see this memorial everyday. It reminds me of the lives lost and to pray for our heros who fight for this country all over the world. It makes me proud to be an American who can speak out, vote and be free. God Bless America.
