The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation, in cooperation with the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC), today announced that Alice M. Greenwald will become the Director of the WTC Memorial Museum. In this position, Ms. Greenwald will create, program and direct the Museum, which will be adjacent to the Memorial. She currently serves as Associate Museum Director for Museum Programs for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.

Yesterday’s foray into the Boston/Dubai axis of time/space discontinuity reminded us that it’s time to check up on what will be, at 2,313 feet, by far the tallest target building in all God’s grave dominion. It’s an SOM job, obvs. And Emporis tells us the “the triple-lobed footprint of the building is based on an abstracted desert flower native to the region.” How sweet.
