I know of the perfect way to save a lot of money on the memorial. Just use the damaged "Sphere" from the former Austin J. Tobin plaza that is now in Battery Park. Move the "Sphere" along with it's "Eternal Flame" that burns both day and night. No need for the "Twin" Pools of what? Just SCRAP THAT ALTOGETHER! It's ironic that Daniel Libeskind 'Won' that WTC design competition, when ONE OF THE RULES in entering, was that you had to have an ARCHICTECT"S LICENSE to practice in the United States, which Mr.Libeskind DID NOT HAVE! Save us the agony and cost!
